If you know my parents, Manish and Sefali Chikhliya, you know that food has always been one of the ways they bring people together.
For as long as I can remember, they’ve been cooking — for our family, friends, gatherings, celebrations, and so many others along the way. Some of my favorite memories growing up are tied to the food they made and the people we shared it with.
Surti Catering Dallas Fort Worth grew naturally from that.
We wanted to share the Surti Gujarati food our family knows and loves with more families throughout Dallas Fort Worth. Not restaurant-style food, but the kind that feels familiar — home-cooked shaak, daal, rice, rotli, and traditional dishes made the way we grew up eating them.
Today, my parents still prepare the food themselves, whether it’s for our weekly tiffin service, a puja, wedding, birthday, or family gathering. Our goal is simple: to bring a little taste of home to your table.
To everyone who has trusted my parents to cook for your family — and to those just discovering us — thank you. Every order, recommendation, and kind word helps our little family business grow, and it means more to us than you know.
– With love, ❤️
Urvi, Daughter of Manish & Sefali
